Heaven’s Two
They are two.
They are one.
He is One.
He is One named victory.
He is One named slaughter.
By Him,
For Him,
All things were made.
And in Him all things are held together.
He is One,
And He is Two.
The first is Him.
His golden mane washes over the innocent,
The riches of his roar drown out all fear.
His paws cradle His children with the utmost care and gentleness,
Yet with one swipe
They tear away life from the wicked.
Those eyes.
Those terrifying,
Beautiful,
Unmistakable eyes.
I cannot maintain my gaze,
But I must!
And the Other.
The face of true humility and innocence.
The form of honesty, love, and meekness.
A small, childlike, most lovable frame.
Wool that is white as snow.
Do not be mistaken,
This One is no weaker than the first.
Although small,
this One,
Like the Lion,
Has conquered all.
All are under their feet.
All bow down to their majesty.
They were, they are, and they will always be.
They are One.
Mighty in battle,
Gentle and lowly,
These two are One.
Who is this One?
Who is this Lion of Lions?
Who is this Lamb of Lambs?
The King of Kings?
The Lord of Lords?
Who is this One?
His name is Jesus.
