A Love Indescribable

I seek Love, of which kind or color I cannot speak,
Although it could be that the Love I seek is,
A Love so True
there is nothing like a love so true,
to lift your spirit when feeling blue.
Yet on this earth I find it impossible,
To find a Love so True
Perhaps, a Love Supreme!
Yes, a Love Supreme would surely my soul redeem!
Yet I cannot find a single human being,
Who gives a Love Supreme
Oh, but undoubtedly I need a Love steadfast,
A love to not look at my sin aghast, a love forgiving of my broken past.
But surely no one,
No one could possibly provide this Love steadfast.
What I really seek is a Love everlasting,
Certainly my heart will be filled with a Love everlasting!
A love unstirred by time’s passing,
Yet nothing I see could possibly escape death’s grasping
However, If I am to be honest with this heart of mine,
all of these loves are already mine.
For by the cross I have a love divine,
It is a love eternal, free from the yoke of time.
It is soul inhabitation, I in Christ’s heart, and Christ in mine.
